SHIELD training system is guided by 4-pillars of human performance: Power, Strength, Movement, & Therapy. This system is based on the most innovative and cutting-edge techniques, and provides the foundation for all athletic training.

At SHIELD, we own and operate the ice facility. This gives us the opportunity to translate what we do off the ice to on ice. Our On Ice Specialists deliver individualize and group sessions based around power skating + transitional movements, skills and shooting, deception, and tactical game play. We believe in creating an experience that enhances your development needs by bringing in elite coaches to power the on ice programs

We believe that athletes need attention all year round, and it’s the offseason where you will make the adaptation. SHIELD’s, sports medicine doctors, physical therapists, chiropractors, massage therapists, and other specialists are in constant communication with our strength coaches to ensure your tailored plan is achieving your goal. It’s the little things that make the biggest difference, and creating consistency evolves past their limitations.
5. Hockey Special Advisory
We understand a developing hockey player there are action steps and patterns that seem to stay consistent over a players career and life. We have worked with over 1000+ players from NHL to grass roots and this program is a 1 on 1 service. We will take game film, watch your practices and evaluate what areas of focus you need to develop, from Hockey IQ to enhancing your abilities in the gym.
