What is the SHIELD DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE?

The SHIELD Development League is an exceptional program designed to help young hockey players in our region hone their skills. It involves 4-on-4 games and weekly technical skill sessions. The SDL focuses highly on creating an advanced and captivating development platform with on-ice specialists who develop players from NHL, PWHL, NCAA, and OHL levels. Additionally, special guest coaches and OHL Scouts are powering the program. Weekly video education is also sent to your emails. This unparalleled off-season development experience is a must-have for all minor hockey players. It provides an excellent opportunity to develop with some of the best coaches in the game and master the art of hockey while understanding the pathway on what’s to come.
